Educational Requirement

  • A National Senior Certificate (Matric);
  • National N Diploma/ National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  • TVET Education Lecturing Qualification;
  • Trade Test in Fitting and Turning.

Minimum Requirement

  • A minimum of zero to two (0-2) years’ experience in TVET sector;
  • Registered with South African Council for Educators (SACE);
  • Moderator, Assessor and Facilitator certificate will be an added advantage;
  • Driver’s licence will be an added advantage.

Post Description:

  • Applied Engineering Technology NC(V) L4;
  • Engineering Practice NC(V) L3;
  • Fitting and Turning NC(V) L2- L4;
  • Material Technology L3.

Duties

  • Engage in learning/facilitation as per workload;
  • Assess and record the performance of students;
  • Manage a learning program, develop policy for the program;
  • Provide guidance on the latest developments on approaches to the program.

Finance Clerk Trainee

Post Description:

  • Financial Management
    • Receive documents for payment, check for duplicate payments and obtain signatures according to delegation of powers;
    • Ensure that the expenditure is in line with the approved budget;
    • Provide information required for audits purposes.
  • Asset Management
    • Capture newly acquired assets on the asset register in accordance with asset management policy and procedures;
    • Record and monitor the movement of assets within EWC sites.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Receive requests to purchase from the SCM Head in accordance with approved procurement procedures;
    • Obtain, receive, and evaluate quotations as prescribed by the SCM Policy;
    • Place approved orders with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Debtors Management
    • Timely follow-up on outstanding balances;
    • Liaise with students regarding payment arrangements, refunds, and account-related enquiries.
  • Payroll Management
    • Receive, review and validate payroll claims including other payroll-related transactions;
    • Generate and distribute salary advices;
    • Respond to payroll-related queries and confirm staff employment to companies when required.

Minimum Requirements

  • N6 Academic Report – Financial Management / Business Management.

Date of Commencement

  • As soon as possible.
