Educational Requirement

- A minimum of zero to two (0-2) year's experience in TVET sector
- Registered with South African Council for Educators (SACE)
- Moderator and Assessor certificate will be an added advantage

Post Description

Duties
- Engage in learning/facilitation as per workload;
- Assess and record the performance of students;
- Provide guidance on the latest developments on approaches to the program.

- Diploma in Financial Management/ Accounting;
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ appropriate experience in Asset Management/ Finance Administrator;
- Knowledge of Computers will be an added advantage;
- Knowledge of GRAP standards related to assets;
- Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of the Public Service financial legislations, procedures and Treasury Regulations (PFMA) Financial Manual;

Duties and Responsibilities
- Upkeep and consolidation of the assets register;
- Capture newly acquired assets into the system;
- Record movement of assets across campuses and Corporate Centre;
- Prepare the write off list and dispose of assets;
- Administer the bi-annual asset verification across all campuses and Corporate Centre;
- Reconcile physical assets with the register and investigate discrepancies;
- Ensure new and existing assets are barcoded at Corporate Centre and Campuses;
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and asset control policies;
- Prepare asset management reports;
- Assist with audit queries relating to asset management;
- Ensure compliance with DHET guidelines, GRAP, and College policies;
- Filing and maintaining asset documentation;
- Support other administrative and office functions related to Finance/Asset Management.
